A study of John Singer Sargent’s “A Bedouin Arab”.Done in Painter 9, about 45 minutes. One layer, with no ctrl+z or eraser, one brush (Oil Brushes - Bristle Brush) on default setting.I feel kinda bad for trying to study this, actually. I feel like I don’t do it enough justice. Man, fuck mountains.As much as I hate (and suck at) drawing mountains, I need to get better at backgrounds, and such. I gave myself a 30-minute limit, trying to make the scene recognizable without delving into too much detail.Reference.
